Home Depot app design

Home Depot is a staple in home improvement, but not so well-known as a leader in home design inspiration. They asked for a color inspiration-led app where users can explore, experiment, and create a living space worthy of Pinterest. To start, we looked at the existing design of their site, which was most recently done by my colleagues at T3. From there, we tested several different designs and settled on the following.

The results from the color inspiration app launch were amazing. There was a 48% increase in those seeing Home Depot as an inspiration for decor and 31% increase in those considering Home Depot as a source for decor.
